These terms cover use of Exactlane Preflight at https://exactlane.dev, including Public Agent Preview, the REST contract, and remote MCP at https://exactlane.dev/mcp.

Bounded evidence only

Exactlane provides caller-specific MCP capability compatibility evidence computed from a caller-provided capability snapshot and caller workflow requirements. It is the check before the call. It is not a security scanner, a security certification, full MCP conformance certification, provider-trust rating, live-availability proof, payment guarantee, or business-result certification. Exactlane does not probe live endpoints.

Caller-owned decisions

Exactlane does not make the caller’s operational decision. There is no automatic mapping from report verdict to action. The caller owns CONTINUE / UPDATE_INTEGRATION / HOLD.

Public Agent Preview

Public Agent Preview is best-effort, time-bounded, quota-bounded access. Grants last 1800 seconds, use the documented preview scopes and quotas, and may be rate-limited, disabled, expired, or revoked. Preview access is not a general-availability or production SLA.

Remote MCP

The MCP interface is an adapter over the same Exactlane service operations. OpenAPI remains the REST contract. Live probing remains off. MCP tool output does not include Exactlane bearer credentials.

Caller responsibility

Callers are responsible for the snapshots, requirements, and attestations they submit, and for deciding whether to rely on an external capability. Do not attempt to bypass quotas or rate limits, or to read another caller’s private artifacts.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is. Evidence is only as complete as the supplied snapshot and the fixed evaluator profile. Exactlane is not liable for operational outcomes after a caller decides to continue, update an integration, or hold.

Services Terms

1. Contracting party and payee. Exactlane is not yet incorporated as a company and is not a limited company. A written quotation lists what is still open; it is not itself the agreement. No engagement exists, and these Services Terms do not take effect, until a human-approved written service confirmation is issued. The contracting service provider and payee are named in that confirmation. The confirmation records your agreement to the final scope, fee, contracting service provider, and payee. Technical work and review are performed by the agent team; human accountability covers legal and commercial matters.
2. Governing law and jurisdiction. These Services Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), except to the extent that mandatory laws applicable to you cannot lawfully be excluded. The competent court is named in the service confirmation, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules. Applicable statutory rights, including consumer cancellation/refund and personal-data rights, remain unaffected.
3. Packages and scope. Exactlane Services are intended for MCP developers, businesses, and professional users. Both packages cover one MCP server: a public package/repo or buyer-provided runnable repo. The service confirmation names the final scope, fee, delivery date, artifact, host, and versions. US$150 Compatibility Check includes a live run in the named host (server startup and recorded listing), a full field walk, a report, recheck steps, and host-ready reproductions for suspected host bugs. US$300 Check + Bounded Fix adds the PR described in section 7; for that package only, runnability is confirmed before quoting. Public paid live coverage is Claude Code only. Other hosts may be used only as labelled comparison evidence, not as paid live execution, unless the service confirmation says otherwise. Claims are bounded by the Services host matrix and the confirmation. A quotation may outline provisional dates or open items; only the service confirmation binds final scope, fee, delivery date, and host.
4. Delivery, acceptance, and recheck. Delivery means Exactlane sends the final report (and, for US$300, the PR link) to your contact named in the service confirmation; interim logs and drafts are not delivery. An acceptance window is 5 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding Taiwan public holidays) and starts on the first working day after delivery or after Exactlane’s response to your dispute. Within the first window, confirm acceptance, or use the engagement’s one dispute round: report a mismatch against the agreed scope in writing, with recheck evidence, or, if the named versions are unobtainable, request the free rerun (Exactlane reruns once only, free, on your current versions). The dispute round pauses acceptance and issuance of the payment request once, for no more than 10 working days from the request. Within that period Exactlane responds with a rerun or fix log, or explains in writing why your mismatch report is not a mismatch against the agreed scope. That response opens a new 5-working-day acceptance window for confirming acceptance; it does not open a second dispute round. If you state in writing within that window that the dispute remains unresolved, or if Exactlane does not respond within the pause, section 6 applies. Otherwise acceptance occurs on your confirmation or when the applicable window expires.
5. Payment. No payment before delivery. Exactlane issues the payment request after acceptance under section 4, or as set out in section 6. Payment is due within 7 calendar days of that request. Amounts not paid when due may accrue interest at the statutory rate permitted by applicable law.
6. Refund, partial delivery, and cancellation. Undelivered work is not chargeable. Before work starts under the service confirmation, either party may cancel free of charge by written notice. After work starts and before delivery, if you cancel in writing and no partial delivery is agreed, no fee is due and Exactlane need not deliver unfinished work. After delivery, the dispute round in section 4 and the partial-delivery and refund provisions in this section apply, together with applicable statutory rights. Other post-start cancellations or scope reductions need written agreement, subject to applicable statutory rights. If agreed deliverables cannot be completed or a mismatch against the agreed scope remains unresolved, cancel the unfulfilled part or agree partial scope and a reduced fee in writing. Exactlane refunds any payment for the unfulfilled part. Acceptance and payment apply to the agreed partial delivery. If the dispute remains unresolved after the dispute round, Exactlane charges only for the part you confirm in writing matches the agreed scope; if the parties do not agree on a reduced fee, Exactlane charges nothing for the disputed part and refunds anything already paid for it. A report finding incompatibility alone is not a delivery failure.
7. Bounded fix and exclusions. US$300 includes the check and a PR addressing report-listed buyer-side defects, or a labelled workaround for a suspected host bug if you want one, with one revision round within the confirmed scope. Access is limited to a fork or pull-request route you provide; Exactlane does not need buyer accounts, credentials, or production access for the fix. You own tests, review, and merge. No certification, on-call support, integration build, production deployment, host-vendor repair or work beyond the confirmed scope is included.
8. IP and PR permission. You retain ownership of your repo and IP. You grant Exactlane limited permission to inspect and copy submitted materials, prepare changes, and deliver the report/PR solely for the commissioned job. Exactlane claims no rights in your IP beyond what is needed to perform it. You may use, modify and integrate delivered reports and fixes, subject to existing third-party licences.
9. Submitted artifacts and personal data. Submit only materials you are authorised to provide, using a public or sanitised runnable artifact and synthetic test data. Do not put credentials, access tokens, production data, or other people’s personal data in submitted artifacts. Your own contact details for the job (name, email, and similar) are allowed for quotation, confirmation, delivery, and payment. Exactlane does not request secrets or production access.
10. Host under test and AI tooling. Exactlane is AI-agent-operated for technical work, with human legal and commercial accountability. The host under test is the host named in the service confirmation for the paid live run (currently Claude Code CLI). That run is compatibility testing of your server in that host—not Exactlane’s separate AI analysis tooling. The host provider may still process materials under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy; these Services Terms do not deny provider-side processing. Separately, Exactlane agent tooling may process submitted materials, diagnostic logs, and drafts to produce the report and any PR. Exactlane does not list every model name here. Material external services intentionally used for the job (other than ordinary site infrastructure) are named in the service confirmation.
11. Preflight terms and privacy. The existing Preflight notices on /terms and /privacy remain in place and cover Exactlane Preflight Preview, including its static tool/API/MCP behaviour. These Services Terms cover paid Exactlane Services and do not replace those notices. Paid Services become binding only through the human-approved service confirmation described above.
12. Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exactlane’s aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the total fees paid or payable for that engagement. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
